Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council

The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) is the principal national regulatory body for nurses and midwives in Bangladesh. Established by the government, its primary functions are to register and provide licenses for nursing and midwifery professionals, ensure that educational standards are maintained, and promote best practices within these professions. By regulating and overseeing the practice standards, the BNMC ensures that nurses and midwives in Bangladesh provide safe and effective care to the public.
